Future Based is a is a platform that is not fettered to time and space, where collaborations arise, encounters take place and projects are initiated. We work together with partners, are hired as curators, programme makers, or function as a catalyst to bring into practice great ideas. Sometimes we do one-off collaborations like meetups, and we occasionally have long-term schemes, but Future Based’s network of curious minds will always be our point of departure.
Future Based is currently involved in the following projects:
Rob Voerman – The Utopian city: Workshops on ‘utopian thinking’ for HKU Game Design.
Abdelharam Hassan on behalf of Digital Society School – Reading groups on Algorithmic (in)equality.
Fillip Studios – Residency program and meetup collaboration
“To give more people with varying backgrounds the chance to work, explore and learn this way, we share our knowledge, experience, network and working space.”
Together with journalist Kevin Toma, Sabine developed and lectured several Film and Philosophy courses such as ‘the thinking movie’, and ‘How film and philosophy work’, in Utrecht, Wageningen, and Arnhem in different movie theaters, like Focus Film theater and Louis Hartloopercomplex.
Future Based was founded in 2019. Since the very beginning, we organized meetups, reading sessions and workshops. Click here, for an impression on the projects.
